Radio Streaming WorldWideWeb

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Radio Streaming WorldWideWeb mobile application ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. The app is published by Docs Printing SRL, Romania. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.

Summary

  • The app has no account and no login. Your favorites and listening history stay on your device.
  • The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob.
  • Audio is streamed directly from the broadcasters' own servers.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your favorite stations, your recently played stations and your app settings locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to us and is not linked to any account. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.

Network connections

To work, the app connects to:

  • Broadcasters' streaming servers: when you play a station, audio and the "now playing" information are fetched directly from the broadcaster. As with any internet connection, your IP address is visible to that server. The station's logo is also loaded from the broadcaster's own website.
  • Our station catalog (albums.qrl.ro): the app periodically downloads the list of available stations. This request contains no personal information beyond the standard technical data of any web request (such as IP address and app version).

Song identification (Shazam)

If you tap the song identification button, the app asks for access to the microphone and uses Apple's ShazamKit to identify the music playing. The audio is converted on your device into a signature that is sent to Apple to find a match; we do not record, store or receive any audio. Microphone access is used only while identification is running, and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings.

Advertising

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process device information and identifiers (such as the Advertising Identifier / IDFA), as well as diagnostic and usage data. Through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, the app asks whether you allow tracking; if you decline, ads are served without the advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Ads are not shown while you listen to stations whose broadcasters have not allowed advertising. For details on how Google uses data, see Google's Privacy & Terms.

Reporting a station

If you use "Report station", the app opens your email app with a pre-filled message about that station. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the email yourself.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. The only third parties involved are Apple (App Store, ShazamKit) and Google (AdMob), each acting under their own privacy policies, and the broadcasters whose streams you choose to play.

Third-party content

The app plays live streams from third-party broadcasters. We are not responsible for the content of any station, the accuracy of its metadata or its availability. Stations may be added or removed at any time, including at the broadcaster's request.

Children

The app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you stay in control: you can remove favorites in the app, change your tracking choice or microphone access in iOS Settings, or delete the app to erase all of its data. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR; you can contact us about any privacy question using the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the latest changes were made.
