Radio Streaming Romania ("we", "our", "us") operates the Radio Streaming Romania mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our App is designed to stream radio content with minimal data collection.

Advertising

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. 
AdMob may collect and use certain data for ad personalization, 
including device identifiers and general usage data. 
This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy 
(https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Automatically Collected Technical Data:

When you use the App, the following non-personal technical data may be collected automatically to ensure proper functionality:

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • General network type (WiFi or Cellular)
  • App crash logs and performance diagnostics
  • Approximate country-level location (derived from IP address, not GPS) for stream optimization

This data is collected in aggregate form and cannot be used to identify individual users.

You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

Locally Stored Data:

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Your favorite stations list
  • Last played station
  • Volume and playback preferences

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Information

The limited technical data we collect is used solely to:

  • Deliver and maintain the radio streaming service
  • Improve App stability and performance
  • Fix bugs and resolve technical issues
  • Understand general usage patterns in aggregate

We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The App streams audio content directly from radio station servers. When you listen to a station, your device connects directly to that station's streaming server. Each radio station has its own privacy policy governing their streaming infrastructure.

The App may use the following third-party services for analytics and crash reporting:

  • Apple App Analytics (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)

We do not integrate any third-party advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or social media SDKs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties.

We may disclose technical data only if required by law or to comply with a valid legal process.

Data Retention

Aggregate technical data is retained for a maximum of 12 months for performance analysis purposes and is then permanently deleted.

Locally stored preferences (favorites, last played station) remain on your device until you delete the App.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 16. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the limited data we process. Since we do not collect personal data, the risk to individual privacy is minimal.

Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Romanian and EU law, you have the right to:

  • Request information about any data we hold (we hold no personal data)
  • Request deletion of any data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP)

Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are satisfied by default.

International Users

The App is available worldwide. If you access the App from outside Romania, please be aware that audio streams originate from servers located in Romania and potentially other countries where radio stations host their infrastructure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
