This Privacy Policy explains what information the Disc Sort mobile
game (the “App”) collects and how it is used. The App is operated by
Robert Ionas (“we”, “us”). Contact:
[email protected].
Information we collect
The App can be played fully offline. Information is only sent to our server when you
complete a level and a score is submitted to the online leaderboard:
- Display name — optional. If you leave it blank, your score is
stored as “Anonymous”. Choose any nickname you like; it does not need to be your real name.
- Gameplay results — the level reached, number of moves, and time taken.
- A random device identifier — a random UUID generated on your device
at install time. It is not your Apple ID, advertising identifier (IDFA), phone
number, or any hardware identifier, and it is not used to track you across apps or websites.
- IP address — processed transiently by our server only to prevent
spam and abusive submissions (rate limiting).
What we do NOT collect
- No account, email, or password is required to play.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data.
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent any data.
How we use the information
- To display the public leaderboard (your chosen name and score).
- To keep the leaderboard fair (spam/rate-limit protection).
What is public
Leaderboard entries — the name you choose and your level/moves/time — are publicly
visible at docsprinting.ro/discsort.
Do not enter personal information as your display name.
Data retention & deletion
Scores are kept until you ask us to remove them. To delete your entries, email
[email protected] with the display name you
used (and, if known, your device identifier). We will remove the matching entries.
Children
The App is suitable for all ages and requires no personal information to play.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on our own server. Submissions are signed to
reduce tampering.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly.
