This Privacy Policy explains how the Tally mobile application ("Tally", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Tally is published by Docs Printing SRL, Romania. By using Tally you agree to the practices described below.

Summary

• Your weight history is stored only on your device. We do not host it on our servers, and we never ask for an account or password.
• The free version of Tally shows ads through Google AdMob; an optional subscription removes them.
• The text you type to generate a recipe is sent to our recipe service only to create that recipe.

Information stored on your device

Tally lets you record weigh-ins (a weight value, the date and an optional note), your height, an optional goal weight, and reminder preferences. This information is saved locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. It is not transmitted to us and is not linked to any account. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.

Apple Health

If you enable it, Tally can read your body-weight samples from Apple Health and write your weigh-ins back to Apple Health. Health data is exchanged directly between the app and Apple Health on your device, under permissions you control in iOS Settings. We never receive your Health data and never use it for advertising.

AI recipe generation

When you generate a recipe, the diet you selected and the text of your request are sent over an encrypted connection to our recipe-generation service (ai.dashiro.ro) solely to produce the recipe shown to you. These requests are not linked to your identity and are not used to build a profile of you.

Advertising

The free version of Tally displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process device information and identifiers (such as the Advertising Identifier / IDFA) and usage data. On first launch the app asks, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether you allow tracking; if you decline, ads are served in non-personalized mode. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. For details on how Google uses data, see Google's Privacy & Terms. You can remove all ads by subscribing to Tally Premium.

Subscriptions and purchases

Tally Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that removes ads. Purchases, renewals and any free trial are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment information; we do not receive or store your payment details. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, Tally schedules a local notification on your device. No data leaves your device for this feature.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your weigh-ins or Health data with anyone. The only third parties involved are Apple (App Store, In-App Purchases, Apple Health) and Google (AdMob), each acting under their own privacy policies.

Children

Tally is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because your weight and Health data live on your device, you stay in control: you can edit or delete individual entries in the app, revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings, change your tracking choice, or delete the app to erase all of its data. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
